What is Exploration Tab in Google Analytics 4?

The Exploration tab in GA4 allows you to create and customize your own reports using various techniques and templates, such as funnel analysis, path analysis, segment overlap, etc. You can also use the Insights feature to get automated suggestions and insights based on your data.

Some of the new tabs in the Exploration tab are:

• Path Exploration: This tab lets you visualize the paths your users take as they interact with your website or app. You can also use path analysis to explore different segments and scenarios.

• User Lifetime: This tab lets you see how users engage with your website or app over time, such as their lifetime value, retention rate, churn risk, etc. You can also use predictive metrics and audiences to identify users who are likely to convert or churn in the future.

• Cohort Exploration: Cohort Exploration tab in Google Analytics 4 is a way to study and understand actions and results of specific groups of users who have something in common. It cold be the day they first came to your website or app, or any specific action they took. By using Cohort Explorations, you can track how these groups change over time, compare them to one another, and see how they impact your business goals.
